Global Vibes Oviedo is proud to take part, for the very first time, in the Día de América en Asturias Parade — a celebration that honours the bonds between peoples and the shared story of emigration and immigration: of all those who once left Asturias, and all who have chosen to make it their home.
For us, this is far more than a parade. It is the chance to walk shoulder to shoulder through the streets of Oviedo as what we truly are: Asturians by choice. GVO brings together people from all over the world who have fallen in love with this region and who long to integrate, to share, and to live the city as their own.
We march to celebrate everything that unites us: many origins, one home. Because Asturias is not only a place you are born into — it is also a place you choose, and a place that welcomes you back with open arms.

Global Vibes Oviedo se enorgullece de participar, por primera vez, en el desfile del Día de América en Asturias: una celebración, cita ineludible de las fiestas de San Mateo, que rinde homenaje a los lazos entre los pueblos y a la historia compartida de emigración e inmigración, la de todos los que un día se marcharon de Asturias y la de todos los que hemos elegido hacer de ella nuestro hogar.
Para nosotros es mucho más que un desfile. Es la oportunidad de recorrer, hombro con hombro, las calles de Oviedo siendo lo que de verdad somos: asturianos por elección. GVO reúne a personas de todo el mundo que se han enamorado de esta región y que desean integrarse, compartir y vivir la ciudad como propia.
Desfilamos para celebrar todo lo que nos une: muchos orígenes, un solo hogar. Porque Asturias no es solo el lugar en el que se nace, sino también un lugar que se elige, y que te recibe con los brazos abiertos.
