Global Vibes Oviedo organiza encuentros sociales mensuales y se ha consolidado como punto de referencia para quienes desean vivir plenamente la experiencia de la ciudad. La Cámara de Comercio ha acogido hoy en Oviedo, como muestra de respaldo, la firma del acta de constitución como asociación de Global Vibes Oviedo, una comunidad internacional que ya conecta a más de 700 personas de más de 20 nacionalidades distintas residentes en la ciudad y con la que la Cámara de Comercio emprenderá de inmediato proyectos conjuntos, como charlas, asesoramientos, encuentros y colaboraciones, para estrechar lazos entre esta comunidad internacional y el tejido empresarial y social local.

“Acoger esta firma no es solo un gesto simbólico: es una apuesta estratégica. En la Cámara de Comercio creemos firmemente en el valor del intercambio cultural, económico y social como factor de progreso”, ha subrayado el vicepresidente de la Cámara de Comercio, José Manuel Ferreira, durante el acto celebrado esta mañana en las instalaciones de la Cámara en presencia del alcalde de Oviedo, Alfredo Canteli; los impulsores de Globlal Vibes Oviedo, Chris y Catalina Lipscomb; así como numerosos representantes de la asociación y del ámbito cultural asturiano, entre ellos la directora del Museo de Bellas Artes de Asturias, María Díaz-Fanjul.

La firma de hoy supone el primer paso de una colaboración que nace con vocación de continuidad y trabajo conjunto. “Porque cuando una ciudad acoge, conecta y suma, todos salimos ganando”, ha destacado Ferreira.

As a show of support, the Chamber of Commerce today hosted in Oviedo the signing of the founding charter of Global Vibes Oviedo as an association, an international community that already connects more than 700 people of over 20 different nationalities living in the city. The Chamber of Commerce will immediately undertake joint projects with the association, such as talks, advisory services, meetups and collaborations, to strengthen the ties between this international community and the local business and social fabric.

Today’s signing marks the first step in a collaboration born with a long-term commitment to working together. «Because when a city welcomes, connects and adds value, everyone comes out winning,» Ferreira emphasised.
